All of our participants are excited about their progress
Last year was a very productive one. The exciting partnership between the City of Miami's Elevate Miami
program and the Miami-Dade Broadband Coalition made it possible to provide basic computer training skills
to seniors and working-age citizens at several sites located in the City. Thanks to this grant more than 119 participants
received a refurbished computer and were able to enjoy a free year of Internet access where possible.
If you were one of the participants you need to make arrangements with ATT to renew the service
now that the year is coming to an end.
The new groups started the second week in January. Windows 7 was installed in most of
our centers and some of our older computers were replaced by newer models thanks to donations.
Congratulations to all on a job well done!
